Structural Panels by Better Building
Products offer fast, easy installation when compared
to traditional 2x4 construction. The panel also
provides superior strength to a standard 2x4 wall
system. Panels are manufactured in a solid frame
fixture. This allows the inclusion of structural
metal members, molded in splines, our special
"Cam-Lock" closures, and the exterior
skins.
The panels are injected under pressure with a
two part urethane foam that expands and fills
the core, bonding to the exterior skins. The bond
between the foam and the structural members forms
a solid, durable, efficient (R-29 for a 31/2"
core), high strength building component with excellent
fire safety characteristics. By comparison, 10"
of fiberglass insulation or 6" of 1-lb. density
EPS would equal this R value. Walls have an overall
thickness of 4 1/2" with a 3 1/2" core,
and come in a wide variety of sizes. |
